Since 2005
KZS welcomes you to its premises located in front of the dedicated kitesurfing area, by the lake in Hourtin, at a place called Lachanau.
KZS offers courses, lessons, kitesurfing and kiteboarding lessons.
The School is affiliated with the Association Française de Kite (AFK).
Our kitesurfing school has its feet in the water 30 meters from the largest lake in France, 2 km from the village, shops and campsites.
The school is close to major seaside resorts such as Soulac, Lacanau, Lège Cap Ferret; but also close to urban centers such as Royan, Bordeaux and Arcachon.

KZS offers you a safe learning to kitesurf thanks to a shallow water surface over a large area, as well as equipment adapted to your level of practice.
The material
Adapted to your level
Because a beginner's kiteboard equipment is different from that of an advanced practitioner:
- KZS provides you, during your lessons or internships, with equipment adapted to your level and your size
- only 3 to 4 people maximum per instructor for more efficiency
- Each student has his own kite
Adapted to you
Because the kite equipment of a 120kg rugby player is not the same as that of a 40kg featherweight. Whatever the course, the course, individual or collective, everything is provided by the school :
- kitesurf kite
- kiteboard board
- harness
- buoyancy vest
- helmet
- loan of a neoprene suit
- walkie-talkie for effective communication
Adapted to your progress
Because learning to slide a kiteboard is similar to learning to wakeboard:
KZS can use a motor boat, to facilitate understanding and the acquisition of the right gestures: waterstart, goofy, regular, etc.
Since kitesurfing is constantly evolving, KZS offers you new sports such as kitefoil, tiki or kitewing.

Kite instructor and sailing instructor; shaper has his hours. Adventurer of kite surfing, Marco will share with you his knowledge and experience of the different supports, montainboard, buggy, twintype, directional, race, foil….
